As far as this region goes, its a pretty decent lake. Sorry, folks, but we're north; of course our lakes are dark and dirty. My complaint is how crowded it gets, the prices on log cabins, how restricted the swimming line is. And the lake is beginning to become containmented, just like East Fork, which was far better.
Cheap to get in. A little dirty tho I never fully emerge my body into the water
This is a fantastic and clean large Beach. We had a wonderful time.
Great place to train for a triathlon, kayak and relax in general!
Every summer I go here to swim, play in the sand, and tan. I have never had any problems. If you walk along the edge you can sometimes even see snakes (not venomous)! One time we even saw one slither up to us! I got to pick it up and chill with it.
Anyways this is a great beach to bring the family!
